• The Blending Mode guides children in acquiring the crucial reading skill of blending, preparing them for segmenting.
• The Segmenting Mode helps children learn how to segment words, a significant predictor of reading success.
• The Reading Mode supports children in independent word reading by hiding pictures, encouraging genuine reading without relying on picture guessing.

Reading Magic 4 Phonograms and Digraphs Deluxe concentrates on words featuring various spelling/sound variations such as ar, ch, ck, ee, er, ng, oa, sh, th, qu, soft c, and soft g.

This app presents over 320 engaging words to captivate children's interest as they practice blending, segmenting, and reading words with these specific blends and digraphs. It includes a unique section integrating two or more spelling variations within each word. Additionally, Reading Magic 4 offers both male and female voices for pronunciation alongside images.

It is important to note that this app may introduce vocabulary beyond the everyday language of young learners. This presents an opportunity for expanding their vocabulary skills.

To enhance skills in blending, segmenting, and reading, the app offers a wide range of words, extending beyond common everyday language. Children can practice blending and reading without prior knowledge of the corresponding pictures. For segmenting exercises, pictures can be accessed by touch for identification.
